Forgiveness and sincerity in Ramadan 2024

Ask Allah for forgiveness for your past and present sins. Your sins can stand in the way of your development so it’s best to start doing dhikr and istighfaar. Try to avoid doing wrong things and do your best to stay away from unholy temptations or desires.

Istighfar, the act of seeking forgiveness from Allah, is a cornerstone of Islamic faith and practice. It goes beyond simply apologizing for mistakes; it’s a plea for Allah’s mercy, a recognition of human errors, and a commitment to strive for righteousness.Istighfar is far more than just words. It’s accompanied by a genuine regret for past actions and a firm intention to avoid repeating them. True Istighfar involves a commitment to self-improvement and a renewed dedication to following Islamic principles.

The importance of Istighfar is emphasized throughout the Quran and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).  Hadiths (sayings of the Prophet) describe the transformative power of Istighfar.  One narration mentions a black mark appearing on the heart with each sin, but Istighfar cleanses it, keeping the heart pure and open to Allah’s guidance.

Istighfar offers numerous benefits. It brings peace and tranquility to the heart, strengthens one’s connection with Allah, and opens doors to blessings and sustenance.  It’s seen as a path to overcoming difficulties and achieving success in this life and the hereafter.

Conclusion

Preparing for Ramadan 2024 in advance should be our number one priority. If we did miss planning it then you can still start now. Initiate the process now and get down with your prayer mats and Holy Qurans. We keep devoting ourselves to worldly affairs and its turmoils but we never try to devote ourselves to a true purpose like Islam.

Devoting ourselves to Islam is the fastest and the best way to strengthen our faith and fix our HereAfter.

We will never be asked about our grades and the amount of drama that occurred in our colleges. There won’t be even a whiff of that. We will be questioned about our conduct, our time spent in this dunya, how much we turned to Allah and how much Salat we offered.

Do not make the mistake of letting yourself be easy, especially in matters concerning religion.
